Our All-Time Favorite Beauty Blunders in the Ultimate Makeup How-Not-to Video

We talk an awful lot about eye-catching beauty looks on the blog, and today we’re featuring a particularly bold one that caught our eye. Think of every beauty blunder you’ve ever committed—then imagine wearing all of them at the same time. YouTube beauty guru Sharon Farrell created that exact look in the video above using a list of makeup pet peeves from this forum on Reddit.

Suffice to say, it’s the ultimate tutorial in seriously awesome makeup snafus, from too-dark foundation and overly contoured cheeks to droopy eyeliner and goopy gloss. (I’m pretty sure I’ve committed at least three of these offenses over the years. My excuse: I grew up in the ’90s!). Watch, learn, and love—we totally did.

What’s your makeup pet peeve?

The Craziest Thing We’ve Ever Seen Someone Use to Make Nail Art: Video Of The Week
There are so many amazing videos on YouTube, we have a hard time keeping up with all of them. You name it, there’s a video about it. Wondering how to turn flat, limp strands into sexy supermodel hair? There’s a video for that. Always wanted to see what a moonwalking pony would look like? There’s a video for that. That’s why we’ve decided to choose one video a week to share with you. Keep reading for this week’s pick.
We’re big fans of using household items like tape to add some extra flair to our manicures, but we’ve never thought of using dental floss as a nail art tool before. This week we’re trying out this tutorial by CutePolish for getting an abstract stripe design using a dental floss pick. Watch below to see how to get the look yourself.

We know not everyone’s celebrating Easter this sunday, but when we caught sight of these glitter eggs they were too cute to pass up!  Jessie Jane from Lilyshop shared this easy DIY video to help you add some sparkle to your Easter decor. Jessie goes into a step-by-step tutorial on how to make the glitter eggs, but here are just a few tips I found to be extra helpful:
Use blown-out eggs so it’s easier to apply the glue and glitter.  For a guide on how to blow out eggs, check out this video tutorial.
Apply a thin layer of glue after the initial glitter application has dried to seal everything onto the egg.

Right now I am totally loving this new music video from New Kids On The Block: Remix (I Like The). The track is off of their upcoming album 10, dropping on April 2.  Not only does this video feature Artemis Pebdani from It’s Always Sunny in Phialdelphia, but the NKOTB men are looking better than ever. Between this and their upcoming Package Tour, with 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men, looks like a full-fledged comeback is in the works.

This week we’re sharing this awesome Cute Girls Hairstyles braided hair tutorial. The finished style looks very elaborate and complicated. Turns out, all you need to do is separate the hair at the crown of the head and french braid in a circular path.  This is by far one of the prettiest french braids I’ve ever seen and is a lot easier to achieve than it looks.

What do you think? Could this be the new milkmaid braid?
