We promise to ship all boxes by the 10th of the month. This month, the vast majority of December boxes were shipped on time. However, we fell short on our shipping deadline for a small portion of our members. We take full responsibility for the delay, but we’d like to let you know what went wrong and how we are handling the errors.
Welcome to another installation of Everything You Wanted to Know About Birchbox But Were Afraid to Ask. Last week, Ally, one of our amazing Operations Associations, led us through the feedback process. This week, she’s back with a very relevant topic: shipping!
If you’re anything like us, this is the time of the month when you start thinking, “Where in Oscar Blandi’s green goodness is my Birchbox!!?” We’ve all experienced the pinch of anxiety as the hours pass without the appearance of our favorite delivery. (Yes, we’re all subscribers, too!)
Well, rest easy. I’m going to give you a detailed explanation of how your Birchbox gets from point A to point B, so you can spend your holidays worrying about surviving Aunt May’s Christmas Casserole instead of your pretty pink shipment. Click through for shipping 101.
Well, kids. It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for — July Birchboxes are heading out the door! We know you’re excited about our special Cynthia Rowley collaboration and you only have to wait a little bit longer. The first big wave of boxes went out this morning, and the rest will be on their merry way by Saturday morning. One exception: if you signed up for the first time in July your box will be on it’s way next week.
Fun fact: This is our eleventh shipment! We’re coming up on our one-year anniversary in September…and we have big plans. And keep an eye out later this month for our Limited Edition Cynthia Rowley Tip to Toe Treats Gift Box, a special collection of products for hands, feet, and body!
P.S. Not a member yet? If you join by July 15th you’ll still receive our special Cynthia Rowley July box. Sign up now!
A crop of Birchboxes before they left our warehouse this weekend. We’re embracing Earth Month - Can you tell?
Hi ladies! We’ve been getting questions about the USPS tracking info this month. And when you have questions, we are happy to provide answers. Those of you who aren’t seeing any update on USPS web site — fear not! The boxes are on their way. Due to some very special samples that need to travel by ground only (hint: colorful), we are using a third party shipping service called Streamlite to deliver our boxes. It may take a few extra days, but we promise it’s worth the wait. Streamlite will hand off to USPS, but only once the box is very close to the delivery address. This delays the timing of the first update on the post office website (California, thank you for your patience!). If you’d like to see that your box is moving through Streamlite, you can enter your tracking info into this website.
If you have any questions, you can always reach us at email@example.com.
