We’re less than a week away from New Year’s Eve, which means you better start stocking up on noisemakers and kitschy party hats now. Whether you’re spending the night at home with your besties or going to a glitzy bash, you’ll want to look even more gorgeous than usual. (After all, if New Year’s Eve is good for anything, it’s photo ops!) This week, we’re helping you out with five days of party essentials. Our focus today: getting glowy with the help of highlighter.
As much as I love my mighty powerful lip colors and intense smoky liners, there is one thing I would give them all up for: flawless supermodel skin. Since I wasn’t born with that je ne sais quois glow, I routinely fake it with highlighter.
A few snaps from last night’s feather & shopping party. Thanks to everyone who came out!
A few snaps from our Fashion’s Night Out Happy Hour at Bobo restaurant. Cheers!
Fashion’s Night Out is just an excuse to do two of our favorite things: drink delicious cocktails and look (buy) at pretty fashions. In honor of this year’s festivities, we threw a happy hour party in Bobo’s magical garden. Chef Patrick Connolly, a longtime FBB (Friend of Birchbox), created a menu of delicious snacks (mini mangalista ham and pickle sandwiches, oatmeal ice cream sandwiches) as well as our own special cocktail. We (ahem, I) requested nothing fruity or pink and Patrick came through with a boozy, sophisticated drink. Cheers!
