Instagram of the Week: Macarons in the Office!

Every Friday, we’ll be posting our most popular Instagram from that week to give you another peek inside the Birchbox world. Check back here for more, and follow us on Instagram to see images like these every day!

We always get excited when visitors come to Birchbox HQ, and usually end up flooding them with goodies and samples to take home. This week, however, the tables were turned when Candice's mom surprised us all with a box of the most perfect macarons ever! We enjoyed the delicious flavors—like totally unexpected black licorice—while our Instagram followers fervently 'liked' the rainbow display of colors. Merci beaucoup, Mrs. Chan!

It feels like our office’s French-obsession has increased threefold since we joined forces with JolieBox. For a look at what our European team is up to, check out our weekly dispatch from Paris!

Crystal Brings the Macarons (And the Organization) to the Birchbox Yard

Crystal started working at Birchbox a week ago and we’re already crazy about her. Let me count the ways:

1. She’s so organized that she color-coded our inventory (ok, not really, but she probably considered it).

2. Despite her wee size (seriously, she’s even smaller than Thanh), she can keep up with our cookie- and cupcake-eating habits and is also an avid runner.

3. She’s totally game for testing products, whether it’s orange lipstick or three-in-one cream color.

4. She is a crazy talented baker. See those hot pink macarons in the picture? She made them. By herself. Oh yeah, she’s a keeper.

Welcome, Crystal!
