Feeling out of the loop this week? Don’t fret, here’s all the news you need to know.

The Dip Dye Trend Shows No Signs of Dying

This past weekend, I saw some pictures of Sienna Miller’s peachy-pink tips. She’s now the fourth celeb I’ve seen rocking dip dye hair, which got me thinking that this trend has some staying power. But how exactly do you get this exaggerated look?

Dip dye pioneer Lauren Conrad used six items to get the style: hair bleach, developer, gloves, brush, foil, and dye. You divide your hair into sections and apply a mix of the hair bleach and the developer to the ends of your locks. Cover each section in the foil and heat the ends with a blow dryer. After rinsing, you pick your fave color and apply generous amounts of dye. Wrap it in a plastic bag, blow dry again, and let your hair cool for five minutes. Once you rinse the ends, you could very well be mistaken for a celebrity.
