Cop Lily Collin’s Sophisticated Fall Look

image

I hate to use the f-word, but fall (yes, that f-word—what were you thinking?), is right around the corner. I’m searching for autumnal beauty inspiration and I found it in this photo of the lovely Lily Collins at the Canadian premiere of her new flick, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Call A Code Blue With Your Makeup This Spring
If spring is about anything, it’s about color. That means it’s officially time to store your black cashmere and bust out your neon skinny jeans! And if you’re like us, you’re not just refreshing your wardrobe, you’re also embracing a brighter beauty look.
The easiest way ever to incorporate a pop of color into your daily beauty routine is with a shadow or liner. After seeing blue eye makeup everywhere during the spring runway shows, we’re officially gaga for all cool-hued shades, from cobalt to pastel. We’re especially loving a wash of MAKE’s Satin Finish Eyeshadow in Blue Toile on lids for a dreamy and subtle look, or a swipe or two of stila’s Sparkle Waterproof Liquid Liner to create a bold cat eye (fun fact: we used it for the shot above!).
To embrace the blue eye makeup trend yourself, hop on over to our Code Blue Shop!

Get Kristen Wiig’s Tribeca Film Fest Look

Photo: justjared.com

Kristen Wiig is one of our favorite comediennes. The SNL star is smart, sassy, and gorgeous—but what’s best about her is that she can go be ladylike and feminine one minute, and then let loose and be completely ridiculous the next. (For reference, please see Bridesmaids.) It’s a skill that we all wish we could master.

At this weekend’s Tribeca Film Festival in New York, Wiig debuted a drop dead red carpet look at the premiere of her new movie, Revenge for Jolly! Her tousled waves and muted makeup were a perfect sophisticated style for spring. Here’s how to get the look:
