Antsy for your latest Birchbox? Here’s how to nab another deluxe beauty sample while you wait. (Photo: littleshopofnailpolishhorrors.blogpost.com)
As you all know, your December Birchboxes have begun shipping (hooray!). Since we know how much you all love finding out about the latest and greatest products, we had to share Kiehl’s latest promotion—especially since they’re giving you the chance to snag an awesome sample before your box arrives. We’re big fans of the brand here in the Birchbox office. From their cult-y Creme de Corps to their super-effective vitamin C-enriched Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution, the luxe formulas are the perfect gifts or—let’s be honest—any-time-of-year treats for yourself.
From now until the end of the month, when you spend $75 or more at a Kiehl’s brick-and-mortar shop, you can score $20 in Kiehl’s Cash. Plus, if you show a store rep this blog post you’ll also receive a deluxe sample of your choice.
Don’t have a Kiehl’s store near you? While you won’t be able to grab a deluxe sample, you can still get $20 of Kiehl’s Cash when you spend more than $75 online. Simply use the promotional code “JOYFUL” at checkout.
Our latest Kiehl’s discovery? Their gel-like Rosa Artica eye cream, which has a refreshing gel-like consistency and de-puffing effects. Find out how it works in our video.
Coming soon to a mailbox near you!
In honor of our December theme, All Wrapped Up, we decided to give the exterior of your Birchbox a festive makeover. Our creative team decked out the box with pink stripes and ribbons that make it look even more like a present than usual—totally adorbs, right? (Fun fact: this is our first ever jazzed up Birchbox.)
Boxes will begin shipping soon—let the countdown begin!
P.S. Spread even more joy! Gift your favorite fellow a Birchbox Man subscription here.
Over the years, I’ve caught whiffs of many a fancy fragrance, especially during my time here at Birchbox. But here’s the thing I’ve noticed about most floral perfumes: they don’t actually smell like flowers. Maybe my nose hasn’t reached the zenith of olfactory sophistication, but I can never seem to identify any particular blossom in a scent—and who can blame me, when the majority of perfumes feature upwards of a dozen notes?
Like many great fragrance lines, Stella Cadente was born out of a fashion label first. Founded by Stanislassia Klein in 1991, the French cosmetics, interior design, and apparel brand expanded into fragrance in 2005. Nowadays, the company sells three distinct and lovely scents (and we hear that there may be more on the horizon!). We had the chance to chat with the Paris-based designer-cum-perfumer about everything from her dream collaborations to the process of creating a fragrance.
1. What led you to launch your first fragrance?
To me, perfume cannot be separated from the rest of my work. It was a natural step in the creation of the brand. It sums up all my creative work in a bottle.
