As creative people, we love making things for friends and family. But during the busy holiday season, we simply don’t have as much time to get crafty. That’s why we’ve fallen head over heels with Paperless Post’s new customizeable printed stationery line, PAPER by Paperless Post. We’ve always loved their digital templates and it’s exciting that they’ve made it easy to design tangible greeting cards and invites. With so many options to choose from, the hardest part is picking just one, but we did manage to pull together a few of our favorites above.

Today, Yannell, our user experience expert, talks about some of her favorite digital destinations and companies.

Just like physical products, purchases and transactions on the web are bought based off a plethora of emotional factors. We adhere to brands that are more “us,” this is not a new idea but I find myself wondering why brands forget to add the emotional factor to the web.
I’m inspired by brands and companies who can take a product to an emotional strategic level.

After a week of dreary weather, we’ve finally gotten a sunny reprieve here in New York. The much-needed dose of vitamin D has us thinking about bright pops of color—especially Marilyn Monroe-inspired red. The classic look-at-me rouge is just the right hue for weekend lips, freshly painted walls, and flowy fall outfits.
This season, we’re totally crushing on stila’s stay all day liquid lipstick in Tesoro—it’s gorgeously pigmented and really doesn’t budge.

Maybe it’s nostalgia for our study abroad days, but there’s something about Europe that’s just so alluringly romantic. We can’t help but imagine days spent wandering down the Champs Élysées, browsing at Portobello Road Market, or staring in wonderment at Gaudi architecture. Since announcing our new European offices last week, we’re even more inclined to daydream. London is indeed calling.

We normally have a bit of a sweet tooth, but the sunny summer weather has us craving bright pops of candy-colored everything. We can’t get enough of over-the-top pastel nails, clothes, accessories, and of course candy! Ooh, I think I just got a tooth-ache.
The only thing better than real candy? Candy-colored makeup! Okay, we lied—but this bubble-gum pink lip is SO sweet.

We’re so inspired right now by the bright neon colors we’ve been seeing in beauty and fashion. We’re especially excited when we see a mix of neons and nudes! It’s a great way to be subtle but still make a statement.
