Hayden Panettiere Debuts Bangs In Time For Fall
Fall is fast approaching and Nashville star Hayden Panettiere hasn’t wasted any time in prepping her post-summer look. Last night at a tapping of David Letterman’s Late Show, the actress stepped out with sleek hair and dramatic new fringe. An easy way to shake things up and transition your summer cut, bangs are great once the weather gets a little cooler (it’s no fun at all having hair sticking to your forehead when it’s hot and steamy outside).
Panettiere paired her new ‘do with a long sleeve Alexander McQueen mini and a kicky pair of bright red boots. The overall effect was striking and definitely very tough-girl chic.
While we’re sad to leave sundresses and beachy waves behind, the actress’ new style has us excited for the changing seasons. Would you consider getting bangs?

I hate to use the f-word, but fall (yes, that f-word—what were you thinking?), is right around the corner. I’m searching for autumnal beauty inspiration and I found it in this photo of the lovely Lily Collins at the Canadian premiere of her new flick, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. In case you adore this look as much as I do, here’s how to recreate it:
1. Collins’ bold expressive brows are such a fan fave, they even have their own Twitter account! You’ll want to shade in your brows to get a similar look. We like this versatile pencil from IT Cosmetics, which works on variety of hair colors and the waterproof formula won’t smear or smudge.
Holy Mullet: Rihanna is All Business in the Front, Party in the Back
We love when celebs experiment with their hair—variety is the spice of life, after all. But even though we’re adventurous beauty editors, we’ll admit that we’re a little perplexed by Rihanna’s latest ‘do.
Debuting her new look via Instagram, RiRi’s cut du jour is none other than a mullet.Perhaps more surprising than the style itself is the fact that the singer made no mention of it within her social media update. How do you not mention that you’ve suddenly gotten hair like Uncle Jesse from Full House?!
Instead the image and caption she posted were intended to highlight the new pieces she’s wearing from her latest River Island clothing collection. We’re still working out how we feel about her new sartorial choices (and the mullet), but we do appreciate that the songstress’ candid photo was taken in the checkout line at a McDonald’s. Our feeling: this pic is perfect for the next “Stars…They’re Just Like Us!” feature.

The newlywed at 2013 Oscar awards. (Photo: Corbis/hutchinsphoto)
I’ve been a huge Halle Berry fan since her scene-stealing turn in 1999’s Bulworth. So when I heard via The National Enquirer (yes, I am proudly subscribe to their emails) that the Oscar-winner recently tied the knot, I immediately launched into amateur sleuth mode. Translation: I trolled celebrity gossip sites for hours.
My digging unearthed some juicy tidbits about the nuptials, but not the one thing I was really looking for: a picture of the radiant bride in her wedding dress. Drats! While I await more details, I opted to try and recreate the leading lady’s signature look for myself.
