We’re always talking about the staffers in the Birchbox office, but the ones who you interact with everyday are the ladies of our hard-working Ops team. These fabulous femmes handle all of your customer service woes. We wanted to give you a chance to get to know them even better—so here’s a peek at who’s on the other side of the phone.
Last month we played a guessing game to help you get to know some of our Ops associates better. This month the game is back!
Here are three Ops ladies: Madison (a), Paulina (b), and Noha (c). Randomly placed below is an outfit or accessory that belongs to one of them, featured in the numbered pictures 1-3. These three love our customers—read on to find out more about their personal style and see if you can guess what items belong to them!
Madison explains her style as “anything bright and colorful with a bohemian and hippie-chic vibe.” She adds to her bright outfits with cute booties and playful accessories.
We’re guilty of sticking with the same hair cut for years—if it’s not broke, why fix it? But not everyone has our issue. Paulina, one of our amazing operations associates, is always eyeing new cuts and styles. She’ll be sharing her tress inspiration and tips every other week.
With January 1st right around the corner, many of us will undoubtedly be contemplating a hair re-do. (What better way to stride into a new year and season?) Whether you’re ready to chop off major inches or thinking about something more subtle, we have some inspiration for you. Behold, our forecast for 2013’s top three trends. From the looks of things, this year is all about embracing natural texture and bringing back graceful, feminine cuts.
Let’s bring back thick, playful fringes that showcase the face. It might mean a little upkeep but it’s a fresh change for spring. We love this style because it can be pulled off with longer lengths; as well as shoulder-length bobs.

It’s time to break out the hats, ladies! As we witnessed here in New York last week (hello, Nor’easter!), winter is closer than we’d like to admit. While cold weather can be a bummer, I’ve never been more excited for it since that means I can finally don the season’s latest hats.
There’s one very important thing that calls for your attention though, when wearing a chapeau: every hat must eventually come off, and that means the inevitable return of hat hair. So how are you going to keep your strands beautifully voluminous and tousled beneath your favorite beanie?
We’re guilty of sticking with the same hair cut for years — if it’s not broke, why fix it? — but that can be a little boring. But not everyone has our issue. Paulina, one of our amazing operations associates, is always eyeing new cuts and styles. She’ll be sharing her tress inspiration and tips every other week here in her column, Hairistocracy.

I’ve got a major thing for this season’s latest floral headdresses and headpieces. We’ve been seeing them all over the Cannes red carpets and I think this trend will be sticking around all summer.
