I’d probably lose it if I saw Beyoncé casually strolling down the street in 6-inch heels. But despite my obsession with beauty products, it’s hard for an entire line or brand to invoke my fangirl side. That is, until I discovered Mally Beauty.
If you’re not familiar with celebrity makeup artist and bubbly TV personality Mally Roncal, you’ll quickly understand why I’m such a fan. Besides the fact that she’s tended to some of the world’s most famous faces (like Beyoncé!), she’s also created an extensive line of multi-tasking products meant to last all day without touch-ups. Whenever she’s giving a makeup tutorial, she offers step-by-step tricks of the trade sprinkled in with some of her signature confidence-boosting slang (read: “you look absolutely gorgooiiss!”). Check out one of the videos from her YouTube channel here:

At a recent QVC event, I was lucky enough to snag a moment with one of my favorite makeup moguls, Mally Roncal of Mally Beauty. Of all the exciting launches, it was her new gel manicure system that caught my eye. Normally, you’d have to go to a salon to get a gel manicure, but Mally is making it easy to get long-lasting lacquer from the comfort of your couch. Here’s what the pro had to say about the system:
"Mally beauty is all about high-performance, bullet-proof makeup; makeup that is not going to come off until you decide to take it off. For me and for my clients, it is really important that we look great all the time, from head to body to toe. The only thing that was missing was nails. We were getting our nails done and they were chipping and looking trashy and this was the perfect segue. Bullet-proof makeup and bullet-proof nails."

Title: Marketing Manger
A Week Of: Colorful Mascara
Monday: Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux CILS in Extreme Blue, $30, yslbeautyus.com
I decided to start the week off with a bang and go for a bright blue shade today (plus, it matched my shirt). The formula glided on and easily, coated all of my lashes instantly, and added a ton of volume. I absolutely love this mascara.
Tuesday: Mally Volumizing Double-ended Mascara in Sapphire, $22.80, qvc.com
I went for blue again today, but the effect is much more subtle. I think this one would even go well with a smoky gray or blue shadow without looking overdone.
