Blake Lively wore a Gucci Premiere black and white silk crepe gown during the opening ceremony of the 2014 Cannes Film Festival.
Could Blake Lively be any more gorgeous?

Last week, intrepid Birchbox Man editor Martin stopped by the oh-so-glamorous Cannes Film Festival. He got an insider’s peek at all the chic goings on—even walking the red carpet at the celebratory 50th anniversary screening of Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton’s classic Cleopatra. Have you always been curious to know what really happens at one of the fanciest film fests in the world? Us too. Here’s a look behind-the-scenes:
Carey Mulligan Is A Total Babe in Balenciaga At Cannes
Despite the fact that The Great Gatsby has already had its world premiere, the larger-than-life drama by director Baz Lurhmann managed to nab the opening slot for the Cannes Film Festival, which kicked off earlier today.
Getting the festival off to a good start, Carey Mulligan appeared in a show-stopping Balenciaga strapless jumpsuit—proving that you don’t need a lavish gown to be make a jaw-dropping statement. We’re huge fans of her unconventional choice. And another round of applause should be given to Ms. Mulligan for perfectly pairing her beauty look to her ensemble: fresh barely-there makeup and a modern yet not-too-voluminous bouffant.
What do you think of the style?

Of all the well-styled celebs in Hollywood, Diane Kruger is one of my faves. She always takes risks on the red carpet, which puts her on my best dressed short list. Recently, she’s had several especially memorable looks, from her stunning Met Gala ensemble (her long loose hair was the perfect touch) to her Cannes opening ceremony couture. The A-lister is on a serious sartorial roll, with her latest hit being the breathtaking Nina Ricci number that she wore for today’s Killing Them Softly premiere.
