I have a whole lot of hair and I’m currently growing it out, so right now it’s at a very awkward in-between length. One of my go-to styles (especially in the summer) is the side twist. I really like to do fun braids, but I’m not proficient enough to do them quickly, so I turn to this look when I want to get out the door in a hurry (but still looking polished).
To achieve this ‘do, start by parting your hair (Cuthbert did hers right down the middle, but you can also do it off to the side). To keep all the flyaways at bay, apply a little glossing serum all over. For the first twist, just section off some of the hair near your face on one side and start twisting it upwards until it’s tightly wound. Using two bobby pins, secure it either at the back of your hear or at the base of your head underneath the rest of your hair. Do the same for the second twist, being sure to section off an equal amount of hair as you did the first time, and voilà — a gorgeous style with minimal effort. If only everything were this simple.
