Packing List: New Hampshire

image

This weekend, I’m heading out of the sticky city and up to the fresh air of Andover, NH. I’m lucky enough to have a friend with a lakefront house, and even luckier that she doesn’t say no when I ask if she’d like some company. Happily, there isn’t much to do except kayak, cook with the bounty of the local farmer’s market, and make our annual pilgrimage to the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen’s Fair (which is as awesome as it sounds). Product-wise, it’s all about restoring and repairing—here’s what I’m bringing along.

1. La Fresh Oil-Free Face Cleanser

These wipes are an all-time favorite. They’ll be great on the car ride up, as well as on our outdoor adventuring.

2. Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask

Finally, time to clear all that gunk out of my pores. My friend and I have known each other since freshman year of college—so there’s no shame in kicking back in a lakeside Adirondack chair with a charcoal mask smeared all over my face.

3. StriVectin-SD Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles

I don’t go anywhere without this tube. My eyes have never looked better!

4. amika Obliphica Nourishing Mask

My face isn’t the only thing that needs some extra TLC this weekend. Rich in vitamins and omega acids, Obliphica oil works to repair styling damage, heal split ends, and restore shine.

5. Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream

My hands really took a beating during my recent apartment move, so I’m bringing this shea butter-based, antioxidant-packed luxe cream along to coax them back to health.

6. Wild & Wolf Rose-Print Garden Tool Set

Every guest needs a gift for her host, and this adorable gardening set inspired by textiles from London’s Victoria & Albert Museum archives is the perfect mix of practical and pretty—come to think of it, it’s a lot like my friend.
