My makeup routine stays pretty consistent, whether I’m headed to a meeting, a class, or a social event with friends. I get excellent results every time because I’ve picked products in soft, flattering shades. Here’s a look at my trusty go-tos:
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation (shade 5.25)
So expensive, but so worth it. I’ve tried a zillion foundations and this one is the clear winner. It goes on smooth, blends evenly, and stays put. I love the buildable coverage and slight sheen.
tarte Mineral Powder Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess
Bronzer is a must for me. I have pale porcelain skin, especially in the wintertime, and bronzer makes me look as if I’ve slept an extra two hours. I like that tarte’s formula is free of parabens and sulfates, and the color is a foolproof, buildable shade. When I apply, I swipe it across my temples and under my cheekbones.
Nars Lip Gloss in Sweet Revenge
This is the perfect mix of nude and pink. It doesn’t feel sticky and it lasts a couple solid hours without having to reapply.
Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush (shade 10)
I dust this blush on the apples of my cheeks, and it’s impossible to overdo. I think it’s the perfect shade for day or night.
Bare Escentuals Buxom Mascara in Black
I discovered this mascara on a whim after receiving it as a sample. The brush is big and grabs every lash. I do two coats, waiting a minute in between for the first to dry.
Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Liner in Black
I use this liner every single day! I don’t know what I’d do without it. I have almond shaped eyes, so I curl up the tip of my line into a slight cat eye to accentuate my eye shape.
