We approach scents much like we do our wardrobe: mixing, matching, and rotating fragrances throughout the season. Is it any wonder that our favorite fashion looks tend to influence both our outfits and our spritzes? While reporting at the Fall/Winter 2013 shows, we spotted three trends that we can’t wait to add to our closets. And since we’re never ones to selectively shop, here are the fragrances that will be joining our fragrance wardrobe.
1. From blood red tights to berry lips, red hues dominated the runways this season. Dive into this trend with a head-turning crimson frock. And since this bold look needs little embellishment, simply spritz on Oscar de la Renta’s live in love perfume. With floral jasmine sambac and rose, plus rich amber, this modern-meets-classic scent is romantic and elegant.
2. Leather jackets never go out of style but this season get ready to see biker-inspired shapes everywhere. Pair an edgy fitted jacket with Juicy Couture’s Couture La La. A punk rock update on the original Juicy Couture, the blend is pretty without being overtly girly.
3. We spotted this gorgeous menswear-inspired tuxedo jacket at Charlotte Ronson’s spring show and we can’t stop daydreaming about the expert tailoring and colorful lapels. A look this memorable deserves an unforgettable scent. Enter Atelier Cologne’s Amber Nue, a highly concentrated scent that pairs fresh jasmine and exotic cinnamon with earthy African myrrh and Indian sandalwood.
