As skincare buffs, we wish we could spend our days wandering the world in search of the latest miracle serum, but most of the time we have to wait for the best products to find us. That’s why we’re fans of Peach and Lily, a blog and new online boutique that brings hard-to-find, best-selling beauty products from Korea and Japan to the US. This week, Alicia Yoon and Cindy Kim, the site’s co-founders, will be sharing their globetrotting experiences and dispensing their hard-earned wisdom.
A Peach and Lily favorite is Get it Beauty, one of the most popular Korean beauty shows. The hosts will blind-test products, follow trends and share fun beauty tips with consumers. Since Korea is often touted as the new beauty epicenter, we definitely paid close attention to what these experts were saying on the show.
A recent episode focused on an amazing pore-minimizing cream and the buzz it had generated. People had started talking about the product last spring, and the excitement around the product has continued into this winter (conveniently lasting until our recent two-month-long visit to Korea). Everywhere we went, we’d hear about this product anytime the topic of pores came up. So it’s not surprising that once it was featured on Get It Beauty, it blew the hosts away.
Of course we had to investigate and see what the hype was all about. We found a slew of pore minimizing products that consumers loved, but we here’s our superlative pick: Please say hello to Caolion’s Where is Pore?
In our tests of the product, we saw pretty incredible results—and it seems like a lot of other people felt the same way since more than a million jars flew off shelves in a matter of months.
What does it do? This product is unique. It actually attacks the sagging nature of the skin inside your pores. Since oil and sweat are constantly released, and pores get clogged with dead skin cells and pollutants, our little pores go through a lot. This product energizes and firms pores by tightening the skin inside each tiny crevice, which helps reduce their appearance significantly.
We thought that results were amazing with a very visible difference—and to boot, the brand uses only natural ingredients. No chemicals, no alcohol, no parabens, no dyes, no nasties. I’ll definitely be using this year-round.
We’re excited about all these amazing Asian skincare finds, too! Dying to know more? Here are even more great picks from Peach and Lily.
