Yum! Tara Stiles’ Homemade (Totally Healthy) Wendy’s Frosty Recipe

Over on our magazine you can read about January’s Birchbox Crush, model-turned-yoga-master Tara Stiles. We love her for many reasons (her refreshingly straightforward approach to yoga, her commitment to living a healthy lifestyle while also keeping a healthy sense of humor, her awesome playlists during practices at her Manhattan studio), but when we discovered that her favorite indulgence of the moment is a homemade (and healthier) version of a Wendy’s Frosty, our crush kind of morphed into an obsession. Click through for the simple recipe!
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana (or a cup of ice and a regular banana)
1 cup almond milk
1/2 cup almond butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
Add all ingredients to a blender and mix it up! Add ice to get your preferred consistency.
Says Tara: “Tastes just like the real thing and is the best treat ever.” We agree!
Editor’s note: This makes approximately 2-3 servings.
