These days, it seems like just about everyone in beauty is doing a collaboration with some celebrity, designer, big-name artist, or other. (Well, they do say two heads are better than one!) But nothing could have prepared us for the triple threat presented by these new, limited edition nail wraps from Glamour’s seventh-annual Fashion Gives Back program. Born out of the efforts of Los Angeles nail brand NCLA, Glamour, and 10 Crosby Derek Lam, these babies give a nod to beauty, fashion, and tech.
Inspired by this beautiful print dress from Derek Lam’s 10 Crosby resort collection, these limited edition wraps will give your hands a straight-off-the-runway, high fashion flair without breaking the bank. At $16 per kit, which comes with enough decals for three or four manicures, these nail wraps obviously cost a tiny, tiny portion of what you’d have to shell out for a Derek Lam dress. What makes this even better is the fact that $5 of every kit sold goes to Girls Who Code, a nonprofit organization that helps empower women pursuing careers in tech and engineering. Seeing how much we rely on the guys and gals of our tech team here at Birchbox, we are so on board with this initiative!
And just in case you’re not totally in love with the Derek Lam print, there are three more available thanks to designers Bibhu Mohapatra, L’Wren Scott, and Peter Som. Ranging from bold and graphic to vibrant and whimsical, these nail wraps are nail art aficionados. Find them at select Barney’s co-op stores and shopncla.com.
