My Top Beauty Picks: Guest Blogger

Though we’re New Yorkers, we’ve always had a thing for Chicago—the gorgeous lakefront, the deep dish pizza, the friendly people—plus, one of our editors calls it home! Which is why we’re pumped to bring you a guest blogger series from CheekyChicagoThe online lifestyle magazine is packed with the latest events to attend, restaurants to hit, and of course, places to shop. Lucky for us, Cheeky’s Editor-in-Chief Erica Bethe Levine is imparting her Windy City wisdom all week long.

NARS The Multiple ($39)
Nothing looks better on a woman than a natural glow. The NARS shimmer stick in basically any color gives you a bit of shimmer, a bit of a bronzed look and a lovely glow. I can’t live without it!
MAC Fix+Spray ($20)
This is an amazing, multi-faceted moisturizing mist. You can use it to make certain powder shadows more dense, you can spray it on after your makeup application to “seal it” or you can put it in the fridge and then bring it with you to the pool or beach to cool off!
C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine ($7.50)
When you don’t have time to apply lipstick or lipgloss and Chapstick just won’t cut it, you have to use this peppermint formula by C.O. Bigelow. Whether in a neutral shade or with a pop of color, this gloss serves double duty as a nourishing treatment and, well…it looks pretty. Icing on the cake: mentha gives you minty fresh breath and lips.
Guerlain Noir G Mascara ($49)
I have been searching high and low for the perfect mascara and at long last, I think I’ve found “the one.” It comes in an obscenely beautiful case (hence the $49 price tag), but refills are more in the $20 range. That being said, it’s not just about the case—it’s about the power of the lashes.

Need even more must-have recommendations? Here are the four red lip colors we can’t get enough of for the holidays.
