Top 8 Oscar Celebrity Hairstyles

At last night’s Oscars there were plenty of red carpet triumphs (and blunders—I won’t get into that), but the prettiest looks of the evening were all well complimented with to-die-for hairstyles. I’ve rounded up my eight favorites of the night. Click through and scroll to the bottom to cast your vote for the best hair!

Mila Kunis: She blew me away on all fronts: her dress, her makeup, her physique. If I had a pick for overall prettiest of the evening, I would absolutely choose her—no doubt about it. I especially loved how the star’s romantic updo perfectly complimented her super-feminine Ellie Saab stunner. Bravo, Mila! Bravo!

Cate Blanchett: Could she be any more captivating and statuesque? No, probably not. And her straightforward bob and carefully side-swept bangs worked splendidly with her structural Givenchy Haute Couture gown.

Anne Hathaway: The co-host underwent a lot of costume changes last night (eight, to be exact), but her arrival dress and hair was among the highlights. I especially adore the oh-so-pretty wispy tendrils pulled out in the front.

Scarlett Johansson: This is going to be a controversial pick, but I’m actually a fan of the sexy messy style ScarJo sported. (That said, what I liked about her look stops with her hair…someone needs to consider getting a new stylist.)

Natalie Portman: There’s no way that you can do a roundup and leave out one of the night’s biggest winners: Natalie Portman. The mom-to-be was positively radiant on the red carpet and pulled off Old-Hollywood-glamorous hair just flawlessly.

Gwyneth Paltrow: Perfectly pin straight and parted down the middle, this style has me wanting to bust out my straightening iron ASAP.

Michelle Williams: Classic head-to-toe, Michelle Williams and her pretty pixie really give her the aura of modern day Audrey Hepburn.

Jennifer Lawrence: Watch out Blake Lively, this blonde bombshell has tendrils so pretty, so gleaming, they rival even your goddess-like locks.
