We couldn’t be more excited for this power couple on their big day! (Photo: usmagazine.com)
We’ll admit it. We’ve been following the Jessica and Justin developments for a while now, and were pretty psyched when we found out that they were finally tying the knot in a secret ceremony this week in Italy. Now that they’ve made it official—for a rumored $6.5 million dollars, no less—we’re waiting with bated breath to see the first pictures of Jessica’s dress and, of course, her hair and makeup. Since we’ll have to wait until the next issue of People hits newsstands to see it, we decided to put our prediction skills to the test. Here are our best guesses for what Jessica’s look was:
The Dress: Elie Saab or Giambattista Valli. Jessica loves intricate dresses—case in point, her gorgeous lace Golden Globes dress by Saab from earlier this year—so we wouldn’t be surprised if she tapped one of the two designers to craft her bridal gown.
The Hair: An elegant chignon with a twist. Although the star wears her hair down frequently, she also has epic cheekbones which are set off when she pulls her hair back. She’ll probably volumize her hair with a texture spray like Oscar Blandi’s Pronto, and then pull her hair back and up in a bold, yet sophisticated look like this Holiday updo.
The Makeup: Subtle and tasteful, with drama around the eyes. We’re thinking Jessica opted for something demure on her lips, perhaps a sheer pink like Chantecaille’s Brilliant Gloss, so that she can play up her striking blue eyes. She likely played up her peepers with a smoky eye—one of her classic looks—in subdued, neutral colors with a touch of shimmer on her lids and cheeks to amp up the effect. We’d use theBalm’s Mary Lou-Manizer to help pull out her best features.
What are your predictions for Jessica’s final look on her wedding day?
Another star who recently had a fall wedding? Anne Hathaway.
