Summer Beauty Routine
For me, summer is all about being outside, barefoot, and carefree as much as possible. I need a beauty routine that is just as simple as these little pleasures of summer. With the sizzling heat, light is the key characteristic of a summer wardrobe, as well as a skincare regimen. My staple is Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Tinted moisturizer. I have tried many a tinted moisturizer, and I love this one because it’s feather light but has a dense enough pigment to do a fantastic job of evening out my complexion. The SPF 15 in it is great for everyday but if you need a little more sun protection (which is key to keeping yourself fresh and wrinkle free!), Kiehl’s Super Fluid UV Defense is awesome, light as a linen romper, and can be mixed with the tinted moisturizer for full protection from the UV rays. After that, a sweep of the cheek bones with a great bronzer to define, a little mascara, and some Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted lip treatment is all I need before embarking on some summer shenanigans.
I am obsessed with looking like I just came from the beach and when I discovered Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray at my local drug store, I jumped for joy. For about $5, I had the beach in a bottle. You can spritz it on wet or dry hair to get those salty summer waves and it has a luscious coconut scent. It was definitely my best and favorite summer beauty find and summer will never be the same without it.
