At long last, Jin Soon is releasing a set of gorgeous shades for our fingers. (Photo: style.com)
One of our favorite manicurists, Jin Soon Choi, is finally releasing her own line of lacquer. A regular at fashion week (we caught up with her last season backstage at Prabal Gurung), we’re not surprised that she’ll be launching her brand during New York’s upcoming Fashion Week, which kicks off September 6.
The line will be separated into two collections, a Quintessential set that will be available year round, and an A La Mode set that will feature rotating shades based on trends. The Quintessential colors are what you’d expect: a dark red, a sheer pink, a basic nude; while A La Mode features hues like a hunter green, a deep teal, and a moody gray. A total of 12 shades, the formulas are all five-free which means no formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, camphor or formaldehyde-resin. Choi will also be releasing a top and base coat, the latter of which contains biotin, diamond particles, phycocoral, and keratin amino acids that help strengthen nails, give a glossy finish, and remain chip-free.
The colors will make their first debut at Theysken’s Theory and then will be available at Space NK for $18 each.
