Team Intros: Meet David!
David may be new to Team Birchbox, but he hardly seems like a recent addition to the office. From his first week (which included his birthday) last month, he’s made his mark at Birchbox HQ by sharing birthday cupcakes, spontaneously meeting coworkers, and generally being the most upbeat, approachable and inquisitive spirit in the room. We love that his teammates on Beauty Partnerships have dubbed him “Kappy” (a merge of his last name and “happy”) and that he never hesitates to jump in during Birchbox’s periodic workday workouts.

Fun fact: My fiancée and I were best friends for eight years before we started dating. We’ll have been best friends for over ten years when we get married later this year.
Fun fact from a coworker: David has told us he has a tattoo on his chest that says “Be happy” backward so he can see it in the mirror. Thus the aptness of his nickname.
Grooming confession: I enjoy filing my nails. I find it Zen-like.
