Paris fashion week is officially over and, as expected, one of the most talked about shows was Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel fall 2012 collection. To match the giant crystal stones that comprised the show’s set, and the jewel-encrusted pieces of the clothing, Chanel’s creative director of makeup, Peter Philips, gave models a seriously blingin’ brow look.
Gem-adorned rectangular pieces of mesh were glued using a prosthetic adhesive over each models’ arches to create a uniform style and they came in four colors: gray, green, pink, and purple. Letting these fancy faux brows take center stage, the rest of the makeup was kept subdued and muted—almost washed out.
Even though it’s not a real-life look, we love it—especially since it’s so different from any eyebrow style we’ve ever seen before. Plus, it doesn’t get any cooler than 3-D makeup.
What do you think of the Chanel fall 2012 beauty look? What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done to your brows?
