Does Crazy Hair Color Have Age Limits? Kelly Osbourne Thinks So

On a recent episode of CBS’s The Talk, Kelly Osbourne discussed her buzz-worthy gray ‘do with the hosts, telling them she had always wanted to rock gray in her youth as a statement look. Surprisingly, though, she also told the ladies of the show that she felt she only had a few years left to try fun, out-there looks with her hair. What age did she think was the cut-off? Shockingly for us, she said 30.
Here’s what the star told the hosts the other day:
I’ve always wanted to be young and have gray hair, and I know that’s crazy, but I don’t exactly come from the most normal family…
For me, I’m 27. I’ve got three years left, the way I look at it, to have fun with it because once you’re 30, you look like a right idiot walking around with like rainbow bright colored hair and all different things like that. So I think, for me, I’m just having fun with it as much as I can until it’s not appropriate anymore.
I haven’t hit the three decade mark just yet, but I have friends who’ve told me about the unspoken pressures they feel crossing that threshold. Can any of you 30-plus ladies out there give me some more insight? Is 30 really a good cut-off for insanely bright or highly experimental hair? Tell us in the comments!

When we’re in the mood to be experimental with our look, we reach for these temporary lip tattoos.
