A special event calls for something more exciting than your usual ponytail. But you don’t need to book a pricey blow out — you can get celeb-worthy hair with a tool that costs less than a venti latte. Click through to find out more about this wonder product.
The key to getting party hair is volume. And for volume, you need a teasing brush. Our favorite, the Spornette Little Wonder, is just $5.25 and exceedingly easy to use. Start with completely dry hair (second day hair is best) and spritz all over with a texturizing or volumizing spray. Starting at the crown of your head, use your trusty teasing brush to back comb small sections of hair. Use short, firm strokes, starting from the mid-length to roots. Watch our video to learn the technique.
After you’ve teased all over, you can either pull your hair into a simple high ponytail or bun. You’ll have a nice lift that will make your hair look more polished and festive. You can also skip the teasing at the crown and do a chic braided updo — learn how to get the look here.
