Birchbox Pink: Flattering On Every Skin Tone
Working at Birchbox means that we get to do fun things like try out the latest new products, star in videos, and best of all: create custom lip gloss colors! We teamed up with Jouer to whip up a hot hot pink (what else would you expect?) to go in the December Birchboxes — so if you’re a subscriber, this is the time to do your happy dance and get excited.
But even though this shade looks crazy pink, it’s actually gorgeously sheer. You can slick on one coat for a pretty wash of color or build it up for more pigment. (Tip: If you want to punch it up, layer it over an opaque pink lipstick.) And to prove that it is a truly wearable hue — for everyone — we asked three staffers of varying skin tones to apply it and then snap a pic.
