By now we know how good yogurt can be for our diet and digestion (yes, I’m looking at you, Jamie Lee Curtis). But a new skin care line called Dairyface — yes, really — is bringing awareness to the skin healing properties of yogurt. Since I’ve tried weirder things to combat acne, I’m not opposed to the idea.
Founder Oksana Panasenko is launching with a single product, Nourishing Facial Refresher, in five versions, including Peppermint Creme, Green Tea Magic, and Lavender Lovely. According to WWD, the product can be used anywhere on the body, including hair. Panasenko says, “[The rich formulas] communicate with deep layers of the skin and deliver the nutrients like vitamins A, D, E, C and B12.” Because the collection is natural and preservative-free it must be refrigerated and you have about six weeks to use products.
Dairyface is launching this month at grocery stores including Eataly, Dean & Deluca, and Whole Foods and will cost $19 for two masks.
