Go Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Since 1985, October has been designated National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Every year, companies also get into the game with special products that benefit breast cancer organizations. Here are a few of our favorites:

-New Balance “Lace Up for the Cure” Collection: This new line of sneaks and clothing will donate five percent of all sales to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, with a guaranteed minimum of $500,000. All the items feature pink, naturally, and range from a slick racerback top to snazzy fuchsia running shorts.

-Essie's Raise Awareness: We can never have too many pink polishes. Essie's flattering creamy petal will be available in salons this month, with part of the proceeds going to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.

-Mama Mio & Butter Lane: Known for their cheeky, problem-solving products, Mama Mio is partnering with Butter Lane to create a special B-Cup(cake), a fluffy vanilla confection. The cupcake will be available online and in Butter Lane locations, and Mama Mio will donate one dollar to Look Good…Feel Better for every one sold. Plus, during October, they’ll donate one dollar to Look Good…Feel Better for every sale of their Boob Tube Bust & Neck Firmer.

-stila Positive and Pretty Palette: We love just about everything stila does and this rosy palette is no different. The slim case includes four eye shadows, a versatile cheek color, and an easy-to-use highlighter. It’s just $14, with a dollar from each sale going toward The Foundation of Living Beauty, which is dedicated to uplifting and empowering women living with cancer and cancer survivors.

-Tiny Prints for Breast Cancer Awareness: Stock up on personalized stationary and support a good cause. Tiny Prints is teaming up with Christina Applegate, a breast cancer survivor, and her charity, Right Action for Women (RAW) to create a limited edition collection that benefits RAW.
